Based on resale value, Tundra. Plus the cabin is the biggest of the half ton trucks.

If you don't have a lot of money and do blue collar work, go Ram.
If you have money to spend and are in a managerial position, go F-150 or Silverado.

I bought a brand new 2013 F150 Supercrew Lariat for 10k less than sticker. $44.5k truck for $34.5k.
I think it's a pretty good truck for the money. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but it has an 8" LCD touchscreen w/backup camera and leather seats. The 5.0L V8 has received great reviews.
Personal preference I guess. Some people will say Chevy is awesome, Ford is shite. Others will say Ford are the best trucks, and GM is garbage. Those people are absolute morons, both companies make good trucks. Find one that's right for you and get it.

I have been around a lot of abused work trucks, and the Tundra always hold up better. There are quirks that I don't like about them, but to each his own.
I specifically buy trucks for reliability now. If there aren't hundreds of thousands of them on the road still with hundreds of thousands of miles, I won't even consider it. That's exactly why I drive an 04

Let's not forget that about 75% of Tundras were built with the 5.7. At least that's what I see driving around. Is it as badass as the 6.2 Chevy or the Ford 6.2 motor? No. But it is stout as frick and comes with ALL trim levels.
Chevy fans love to tout the 6.2, but it's a rare option that's only available on the upper level trims. I don't want leather and wood grain and nav and a sunroof and all that fancy shite, so with Chevy I'd be stuck with the 5.3 which is outdated, underpowered and feels slow. I've driven a '15 with the 5.3. It's a dog.
With Tudra I can have a 5.7 with just under 6.2 power, 4.3 gears, 4x4, and cloth fricking seats.
