How can he be a home wrecker if the girl isn't married?

homewrecker
One who comes into your life, and screws it all up. This involves stealing your boyfriend/girlfriend, puppy, your friends, until they pretty much take over your entire life.

I'm sorry the word doesn't pertain only to married people.

Interesting. The only definition I have ever seen involves married people. Even listed in wiki as that...

quote:

A homewrecker (sometimes styled as home wrecker or home-wrecker) is a person, object or activity that causes the breakup of a marriage (or similar partnership), or comes close to doing so. The homewrecker is said to have taken one of the spouses away from the marriage, "wrecking" the marital home

Now if there are other definitions, then there are...

Because I wouldn't pursue a person in a relationship? Care to walk me through that logic?

Well we all know wiki is an irrefutable source and certainly the only place to get the definition of a popular term.

I'll usually respond with a sarcastic remark. Like a "Cool story, bro" or "And your point is..." or sometimes ill pull out the "thats cool, I have a gf, but what does that have to do with our conversation?"

I swear. With some people, you cannot win if you're being hit on and you have a BF.

If you tell him too soon that you have a BF, it's completely irrelevant and he tries to make you look like an idiot for assuming that he's hitting on you just for chatting with you.

If you don't tell him soon enough, you're a bitch for "leading him on" and not telling him about your boyfriend immediately.

Most hot, not batshit crazy girls are in a relationship, and most of them will trade the old one in for a new one if given the chance. If you limit yourself to only single girls, you've eliminated a lot of potentials.

It probably isn't just chatting but it's a way to disarm

We have a retort for everything.

Still stand by that guys and girls can't be friends... I know there are exceptions but it is the general rule
