All good advice, especially the football road trips. Me and my friends did a road trip every year and are going to try to continue that tradition past graduation.

I'll add in to not dick around too much early on. Obviously, you should enjoy yourself as an underclassman because you'll never be able to party as much once you get to junior year, but its very easy to get behind in college and it is very hard to make up. I know it may seem like BS when you hear it from counselors and professors but you really can hurt your GPA if it is too low early on. Take advantage of the easy classes as a freshman so you don't have to worry about your GPA later on like me.

That being said still make time to have fun. Freshman year is an absolute blast. Just make sure to take care of your business before going to hit on sloots at Reggies

Any of the classes I took with Dr. Black in graduate school. MKT 7716 (research techniques with SAS) and MKT 7130. ISDS 7103 with Dr. Kelle. EXST 7036 (Categorical Data Analysis) with Dr. Marx. EXST 7039 (Survival Analysis) with Dr. Escobar. All courses covered very important material and the professors were great teachers who were willing to go above and beyond to ensure students fully understood what was being taught.

In undergrad I loved any Political Science class with Mokeba, WWII History with Hilton (don't know if he is still around), History of the Balkans and WWI History with Roider (he is retired), and Spanish history with Hoffman.

Mechanics of materials with Dr. Al-Rub. IIRC he'd always make the person with the highest test grade the "sultan" of the class.

Military History. I can't remember the professors name. He was always smoking outside of Coates before our class.

Kerry Sauley

He was good.

I also had a speech teacher named Sunshine Adams (I think) who was a good teacher.

The older guy who taught landscape architecture was interesting if you like that kind of class.
