Bradenton,FL and points south and north. Great Gulf beaches, affordable, low crime, fishing is great; amazing place to live.

Anywhere in South Walton, Fl or Oceanside, Ca.

If you were talking out of the country, Belize has some very affordable low key areas.

If you were retired and lived at the beach, you could easily rent your house out in the summers and travel the world for three months.

I'm partial to North Carolina beaches, Topsail Island specifically. If the OP wants a cool place to chill, this place can't be beat.
