Yeah I've been a few time now, as my BIL lives in the Pilot Butte area up near the hospital. Yeah that weather Saturday/Sunday was divine, especially coming from Louisiana at this time of year. Brought the kids to the big pumpkin patch/maze deal in Terrebonne and had a great time.
Yep Terrebonne pumpkin patch is the Gateway to Smith Rock.
You know what’s up.
All these others spewing political nonsense are just posers.

Was the assertion that your county voted for Kamala by 10% points correct, or no?
Just wondering. And sorry for the tragedy.

I have no idea of the voting statistics.
They don’t matter to me.
What matters to me are all the men and women I see everyday.
Hard as hell and carrying guns to protect schools.
Pull their kids to school in the snow with sleds hard.
Cops didnt even have time to stop this kid.
The hard arse people in my neighborhood beat the cops to the punch.
That’s real.

People moving from Portland, Seattle, and California have shifted the city blue, but outside the city, is majority red.

I understand. And ftr, I have no dog in this particular fight. I just think it's inaccurate to call people "poseurs" if they are accurately quoting facts or statistics. The timing on both sides is also inappropriate given the circumstances.
Ftr, I lived in Oregon for a bit. Good folks and bad in all places.
Prayers for the suffering, esp. the families with loss.

Posers like you spout statistics from the sky.
Reality stays with the people on the ground who live, work and breathe here everyday.

Oregon Liberal or Conservative?
When something terrible happens in Oregon there is always a discussion of how much blame liberal or conservative ideals contributed. It's an old topic. When accepted into the Union 1859, Oregon liberally rejected slavery while conservatively forbid free blacks from entering, owning property and making contracts.

Nothing yet on the shooter. Always makes me suspicious. Could this be another crazy tranny?

This may shock you, but the rest of us also live, work, and breathe somewhere.
Did you first see the light of day and live your whole life in Bend?
I'm glad one of the "hard" neighbors took care of business. Likely saved many lives.
Do we know if the disturbed person is also a neighbor?

The percentages don't matter anyway. The guy who killed Charlie Kirk came from one of the most conservative parts of Utah which is one of the most conservative states.
All it takes is one crazy person and mother nature spits them out everywhere.

Yea..the fact that the thread descended into a debate about how fricking woke or not woke the town is ..is gross. IDC if the whole town is a bunch a blue haired lesbians or MAGA hat wearing rednecks. They are our fellow Americans and they just experienced an awful tragedy.
