But really, this isn't about protecting certain individuals or facilitating "authentic" discourse. It's about advertising.
Reddit will become the new "Facebook" as its founding userbase gradually moves to sites that protect free speech, such as voat or 8chan.

This is why I stick to 4chan. So far today I've seen 14 dead bodies, 90 pairs of titties, 431 posts hating on SJWs, 1082 posts blaming the world's problems on Jews, and 1559 n-words with almost no moderation.
