I’m a massive dog lover and know sweet pits. I’ve also known sweet pits with great owners with no history of aggressive behavior that have snapped on children or neighbors dogs.

My cousin had a 2 year old lab that snapped on him and put him in the hospital. A very sweet dog turned like it was nothing. So excuse me for not jumping on that bandwagon when my experiences tell me the exact opposite.

Dogs that are dangerous to human life cannot be created from just "any" breed. Yes there are some breeds other than pits that are potentially dangerous.
We don't allow people to walk around with hand grenades or dynamite. I see no legitimate reason for someone to own a pit.

Anyone who owns a pit bull that attacks or kills another human being deserves the death penalty. That’s right, the death penalty. You are just as guilty as the dog you scum.
Owning a pit bull in 2019 doesn’t make you a badass. It doesn’t make you special. It doesn’t make you some knowledgeable “expert” on dog breeds”. It makes you a nuisance to society and an overall stupid person.
