We had been watching him several minutes come in from out pretty far,” beachgoer Chris Barron told CNN. “Most people didn’t realize it was a bear.”

Blonde haired kid closest to the bear in the foreground is my son. He is there with some family friends. They took the video. He swam out to see what it was when everyone thought it was a dog or hog. He swam back in ahead of it and let everyone know it was a bear. They didn't believe it until bear got to the beach.

Cool story man. We have three at my camp, a Bob momma and two younger bears that are about 2-3 years old now. I mistakenly left baby payday candy bar in a tent one time, which they quickly found and destroyed my tent. Now anytime I put a tent there they wipe it out immediately looking for another candy bar. They don’t eat my tents anywhere else just that field. They are big pain in the arse, the momma bear it probably 400 pounds

They are pains. Why the anchor on your thread?

Hope it made it back across the Highway. It’s a ways to any woods from there.
Wonder how far down the beach it came from.
