I like the new Pope. He says us atheists can go to heaven - that's one less thing I have to worry about.

I'm a good Catholic so I would recognize Benedict and Francis

Francis is GOAT by the way. Actually working to change some things about the church I never really agreed with and seems to embody the image that some christians claim to be of not judging people

Pope Urban put an end to the brutal spread of islam into the west. Otherwise we would all be beating our women and fuking goats...(i'm officially banning myself for the evening)

If I had to bring back a Pope today to take over the dioceses, it would be Pope Urban. Enjoy.

He'd fake a heart attack when Saban became archbishop of Canterbury.

John Paul II was a great man, but he completely failed with the sex abuse scandal.
Cardinal law, Marcial Mariel, etc

Most on this board would have done a better job.

If you mean abandoning the principles of Christ to gain favor among the godless, yes, you're right.

I'm not Catholic or religious, but I recognize the current pope and the 2 before him.

John XXIII and JP II are the two I would instantly recognize...

Paul VI and Pius XII I'd have to look at the picture for a bit

Pope Urban II? He called for the Crusade but Islam wasn't invading the west at that point. The Seljuks had taken Asia Minor and disrupted pilgrimage routes in the Holy Land but weren't invading Europe.
