None of the Baton Rouge channels have interrupted regular programming for the storm.
Weather Channel. Learn to be self reliant.

Is this a joke? I believe BTRs local news wins national awards annually for local news coverage and quality
WAFB has been honored as the #1 local news production in the country before
Regardless, Weather channel is what anyone should be watching during a big storm

I agree
And The weather channel is all drama and nothing really helpful locally

Why do you need to watch 24 hour storm coverage? This just in, the storm's coming. Breaking News, storm's still coming. Welcome back from the break, if you're just checking in within us storm's still coming.

Well....with instant access through internet websites, the news is a dying breed. I imagine it’s dying a lot faster in smaller markets like Baton Rouge.
Even in Austin, the local news spends half the time talking about cool Facebook stories. By the time they talk about traffic or weather, everyone already knows.

You’re upset that there wasn’t 24 hour emergency porn the night before the landfall of a tropical storm? You’re quite the nervous Nellie, aren’t you?

Both the big BR locals have dedicated channels now for news and weather. Get yourself an HD antenna.
