I worked with Jeanne in Monroe, she's the only reason I would watch 33 news.
Mainly it's WAFB for the wife and I due to their doing an extra hour in the morning on WBXH (frick you WBRZ and your recycling your first hour; at 8am I don't give a flying frick about how traffic was at 6am) and because it leads into Family Feud at 6:30pm (we're old

I just picture all the news people out at a bar at night Anchorman style and see NBC as the weak link. It's just not watchable.

I have to admit the channel I watch mostly has to do with whether the female presenters are attractive to me. WBRZ also has Natalia Verdina, who comes in a close second to Taylor Evans for making my nards tingle.
To me WAFB is unwatchable anymore due to the ridiculous ratio of actual news to stultifying local human interest stories. I can't even leave the Hand It On segments on the tube in another room. I have to change the channel. That shite enrages me for some reason. Damn shame because Cheryl Mercedes is another favorite of mine.

In the morning and if there is a story I want to see in the evening I put on WAFB.

been felling this way for years. Its as if all they do is search social media for news topics. Screw actual news, just talk about a celebrity, some dog that traveled across country or- and this is the best one- something that can be construed as racist. Jesus they seem to love to stoke the racism fires.
