It does seem the traffic is worse this Friday afternoon, could be the long weekend wreaking havoc on the roads...

Why didn't you take the northern loop?
You know when you say worst drivers and are on I10 the chances are they are not BR drivers lol

What's really weird is I left the area near the library on Goodwood at 4:30 expecting to be stuck in traffic all the way home, but I breezed down Jefferson and Essen. It was a surprising Friday for sure.
As I drove over I-12 on Essen I did notice that both directions of the interstate were pretty much stopped, so "Sorry!" to all the folks stuck in that.

Just tried to go eat at Borgne in new Orleans. It's absolute gridlock so I gave up. Worst part is nobody understands traffic laws whatsoever.

I'll get hate but Shreveport is laid out perfectly I-49 and I-20 intersect in the center of the city and there's a full loop with 220.

you would think that a state with so many hurricanes would have a better system of moving people. With so many problems on the basin bridge why have they never paved either the 1-10 whiskey bay exit to 190 or the butte la rose exit to krotz springs? this would help in case there ever was a real disaster and they needed to move people off that bridge. Are they afraid that the people dumping bodies off whiskey bay exit are gonna complain? hell you only have to go about 8 miles down butte la rose exit to hit blacktop that gets you to hwy 190.
