Where is a good place to hav squat racks, deadlift platforms, kettle bells, tires, etc.

I'm only gonna be in the city for a week

I'm gonna be in the midtown area during my work week so something close would be ideal but not necessary

Snap fitness on Lee has a whole Olympic lifting area with ropes and tires. Pretty cool setup for a 24hr gym

That's pretty impressive for a 24/7 place

They have to compete hard for the younger demographic in the area. From Essen/staring to LSU there are about 6-8 gyms south of Perkins.

Spectrum, snap, anytime, max, definitions, urec off the top of my head.

I wouldn't mind but could I go there for only a week? I wouldn't mind someone helping me with program designing considering I can't workout like I did when I was 25, I'm 35 now I finally accepted that fact

If it's just a week then just do some bodyweight exercises at a park that has bars and stuff.

You'll get plenty good exercise running from the crack heads in that part of town

Power House on Sherwood.

It's a bit of a drive from mid city but worth it.

Yes, but he was forced to move. The old location on Antioch flooded in August and the members worked together to completely remodel the gym. The landlord thanked them by not renewing the lease within a month after the reopen.

Paul found a location at a Pecue strip mall near Jefferson Highway and quickly moved.

I knew Paul back in the day, if it's the same guy. He and his wife competed in bodybuilding contests. Really a nice guy

He just retired.

His son is doing well in local MMA events.
