Just saying...chances are you know someone that has a kid in daycare and can have a basic grasp about what the costs are. Before we even started trying to get pregnant(4 years ago)...my husband and I knew round about how much daycare would cost monthly and briefly discussed how we would afford it when the time comes.

OP...good luck. Friend of mine was scrambling around for daycare and it all came together for her like a month before her due date(She is due Monday).

I'm honestly amazed it's around 200 per week. I know we paid 200 weekly 17 dang years ago in Dallas. See if you can find a place with a live webcast feed. Will drive you a little crazy at first but it's nice to have.

I would up that to around $200 a week and you should be good. I didn't really know how much it would cost prior to getting pregnant or how long some of the waiting lists were, so don't worry, y'all aren't alone.
Just call around, sooner rather than later, and you'll find somewhere.

We have all three of ours at FCA on Bluebonnet. Starts at $680 a month and works down with age. It's a great place. I won't keep my kids there after they enter real school, but it's great for 4 and under.

Nah i'm just gonna leave. I'm just very upset in general and maybe shouldn't post.
My father tried to kill himself last weekend. I'm dealing with that and helping out my family while he was in the hospital until they knew he was actually gonna be ok medically. Now he is in a psych unit for the time being.
