I took a double take out on the interstate. When I saw her makin' eyes at me. So I followed her down the clubhouse drive. Past the pool and the 18th green. And in the parkin' lot. I said it's mighty hot. Maybe I could buy you a beer. She said I'm glad you asked. But I'll have to pass 'cause only members are allowed in here and I said

“I'm a member of a country club, country music is what I love. I drive an old Ford pick-up truck. I do my drinkin' from a Dixie cup. Hey I'm a bonafide dancin' fool. I shoot a mighty mean game of pool. At any honky-tonk roadside pub.”

I'm a member of a country club

Sounds like a country song. I hate country songs.

Haha no I grew up in Baton Rouge though. My family was a member of neither. I went to St Aloysius and played tennis so it exposed me to BRCC, CCLA, and Bocage. BRCC has a lot more wealth than the other two combined.

Haha no. Just go by what my eyes tell me. Also later in life I was married to a woman that had worked for both BRCC & CCLA. She confirmed that CCLA doesn't give a shite about anything other than fees and dues. It's actually not easy.to get into BRCC

Anyone can be a member of CCLA as long the check clears. U Club is a little more exclusive. For better or worse, BRCC are the blue bloods.

Does one type spend differently than the other? Or are you just that much of a pretentious a=hole?

Actually, it might be about a top quality designed golf course vs an average course.

Brcc was handing out junior memberships when i was still in Baton Rouge.

As far as golf courses go, I like uclub more than brcc. Can’t speak for ccl

I didn't know BR was capable of having "blue bloods" in any club.
