Then they are opening a place down the street from their main office downtown. Nothing like The City of BR being fiscially (sic) careless.

They always wasted money.
If the Constable wants to make an impact open a location in the Colonial shopping center in NBR.
This is the new location.
Spent money on construction cost and they will have operations and labor cost.
This is right across the street from their main office[.
The city of BR new motto “wasting tax dollars before your eyes.”
Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome offered the space across from the Clerk of Court office to Brown, who said they have spent nearly five months readying the location for his officers. Three DARE officers and one secretary will work in the location.
Brown said the new spot in City Hall, which is across the street from the constable’s main office, will help with visibility, accessibility and communication because it is so close to other key players in the community.
The constable is basically saying the main office does not fit the need. Instead of just moving to the new location which seems more suitable for their use they open another location across the street.
What is next they get BRAF and BRAC along with better together BR to push a tax for a new building that will fall apart before the construction is finished?

Are we sure they aren’t paying rent for this new office?

Sowhat is their budget?
And how much of my SG tax dollars are used to prop it up?
Eta:
Kip's last budget 3.4 Million
40 employees

That is a great question as we all know “The city of BR “ is fiscally responsibile with our tax dollars.
I am sure the BRAC can put together a fake spread sheet showing that the constable’s office runs off just city funding.
