BR is at 35 murders per 100,000 people

Just as comparison, Chicago is at 24 per 100,000

I understand the population gap, but BR has turned into a war zone. Baltimore has 294 but look at Chicago.

It’s Chicago …
The sister (nun) that runs the shelter in Baton Rouge used to be in Chicago - she’s a Mother Teresa sister (missionary of charity) - they don’t own anything - not even a bed

I don’t know the whole story, but she was held hostage in Chicago, gun to her head bc the guy wanted money

Then take a look at the results of all the aggravated assaults resulting in great bodily injury in that city. It’s an incredibly violent city, much like BR.

Apartments almost always go downhill around here as they age.

Apartments and bus lines have killed (pun intended) many Houston suburbs. When I grew up in NOLA the projects kept the thugs in a general area, but now apartments are no better, the murders have spread out now. Baton Rouge just joining the trend of minority/Democratic run cities...sad.
