It’s more conservative than Christianity so Christians shouldn’t have a problem!

Indonesia rarely capitulates on these things. They executed some Aussies awhile back for something similar, despite public outcry and attempts to get them out.

Those Aussies were more like ringleaders of a drug smuggling ring and not just a random that was caught with drugs. While this guy may have had intent to distribute, hard to think there some broader level of smuggling going on.

Its still stupid and we routinely see this happen to Americans.

I remember the UCLA basketball team had got caught in China awhile back, or some of their players.

Also, ASAP Rocky was in prison in...France?

Britney Griner and Russia...why does this keep happening?

Couldn’t agree more. I was there for 9/11. They were cheering in the streets and on our vessels when it happened. I was told multiple times by highly educated Indonesians that we deserved it.
One of our employees was attacked by a mob in Jakarta. They tried to light him on fire, unfortunately for them he was an ex-marine.
We were operating an offshore construction vessel there and 75% of the crew were Indonesians. Us Americans and the Malaysian Ibons had to devise a plan to fight them off in case the shite hit the fan. The Ibons were awesome. They were all about 5’ 2” but the Indo’s were scared to death of them.We even mapped a course to Singapore on our Tug in case they tried to take over the vessel.
F that place!
Oh and drugs are bad!

I wonder if he hates America because we’re so oppressive.

Indonesians are seriously some of the stupidest people on the planet.

I think Jarred Shaw takes the cake. You know he was told multiple times and likely had some big orientation about not drugs in Indonesia
