I had no idea it was one of the biggest days of the year here.

So what are some good spots?

It's gonna be weird this year with no Chelsea's. I always liked their party in the back.

It gets pretty crowded under the overpass. Almost too crowded to have fun. Before and during the actual parade, I always chill at my buddy's house by the park and take a golf cart to the overpass after the parade passes. Earl's was less crowded for the times I spent there. They always had a live band too

As far as I know it's an empty building. Is zee zee's open yet? If it's still getting renovated this will be a very crowded bar situation.

Ivar's owners recently signed a lease on the building and are planning to open a restaurant there by the fall. Yesterday's Advocate story
