lsunurse (or anyone else), I have two VIP Guest passes (good for entry to the event, free food & drinks) good for every day and while I will be using them today I will not be using them tomorrow (Sunday). Ford motor company is losing money by not taking the Expedition chassis w/ ecoboost and independent rear end suspension, and dropping a retro body like this one on top.
They could charge $75k+ for one, all day long. Would drive traffic to Lincoln dealers like crazy. All they are out is the bodywork and convertible top system. I'm sure interior components can be borrowed. Big issue may be Fed crash/insurance certification for the suicide doors.

Yes, the 390HP/BB has a single Q-Jet carb. GM put three 2 barrel Holley's on the same engine and gave it 10 more HP. These engines were desirable because you could not order air cond with the higher output engines, the 435HP L71 & L-88.

Figured I'd post it here..
Went looked/picked up a barn find for a friend of the family a while back. It's an original '62 Fuelie 4speed big brake car that was raced for many years. Owner blew the engine and sold it.
There were three cars in the barn, this '62, a '67 Corvette L71 tri-power convertible sunfire yellow/black stinger and a '69 Corvette Coupe L36 427 coupe. I nearly bought the '67 to flip (I'm not fan of Mid-year Corvettes) but it needed probably $50K to be put into it. I just didn't feel it wasn't worth it. The '67 sat in there (all did) for 30 years with the top down.

Oh Lord...That ain't good.
That 62 doesn't look that bad, we both seen a lot worse. The body looks straight. What's been done since?
