A '99 Ferrari just sold for $47,000. Is that normal? That seems cheap to me for that car. Anybody can just go in a buy these vehicles?

I’ve caught a bit here and there the last few days, but it doesn’t seem like there have been many ‘57 Bel Airs - seen several ‘55s but not ‘57s. Am I missing something or are they just not that common this year?

For a F355 with 20,000 miles?
Yes
They are not very reliable, service is expensive and engine removal is required.
Buying the car is the cheap part.

You don't replace the engine. It has to be pulled from the car for servicing.
Saying that, I thought the timing belts could be serviced in car on 355's...

I believe technically it can but it's easier to drop the subframe which is why most shops to it.

Looks like F355 is engine out. The F360 was the first that allowed timing belt changes in car.
Here's a nice rundown of a typical service on a non upgraded F355. Becomes obvious why you can buy a used Ferrari for less than a new Silverado.

I wish the guy in charge of opening and closing the hood would leave it open a little longer. Feels like they are rushing cars across the block and to the downside of the ramp faster than ever.
