Both of those prices seem low compared to past years. Especially the LS6

85k is way cheap compared to past years for that car.

427/435 rag was an easy 150k

agree, way low

I think as the boomers die the demand will decrease for the pre 80's classics which in turn will drive the price down. Now the true rare optioned cars and exotics will remain in demand, but the common small block Corvettes, Cudas, etc I think will take a hit.

His reality show was fun to watch.

Daughters weren't bad to look at either.

His intensity while co-parenting with an ex-wife that is still very big in his life and 3 beautiful girls 15-20 years old

I'm not sure if he put on the confusion part, if so he played it very well.

It is just Friday yet and they generally save the top flight stuff for Saturday don't they? Some of these may have flaws that don't show on the screen and possibly things like non matching motors.

They had another L71 go through just few cars later in green that went for 115 or so. Tells me something was wrong with the red one. 115 is low as well.

Saying that, I agree with what you are saying. Also, I don't know how much any of these may be driven, but the resto mods with LS motors and modern suspensions are bringing good money in comparison. That blue 59 Vette with LS power would be fun to own.

It may be a good idea to hold onto classic Corvettes that are original. With the huge number of custom Vetts at Barrett-Jackson last year, and what appears to be nearly as many this year and at other auctions, any all original car is going to be hard to come by in a few years.
Though, many of the good customs brought a good selling price last year.
