I didn't say anything about feelings, it is about assuming the person goes by the name without them telling you. I don't think most people would assume they go by those names. I wouldn't even know if a Savannah would turn around if I said anna.
But that is just my opinion as there is no way to prove a right or wrong answer based on the question posed by OP.
