Speaking of expensive trucks, have you seen the 2019 Ram Limited? Not a bad looking truck either. I really like the inside

Looked at one the other day... interior is incredible. Love the 12" screen.

Even if the engine can pull 12k lbs, that seems a bit much for a half ton. I’d still go with the 3/4 if I’m regularly towing loads that heavy.

Same here. No way I would try and pull 12000lbs with a half ton gas burner. It would struggle heavily to pull hills and get 4mpg.

Most of them have the engine for it as well as trailer brake controllers. At least in GM’s case, they’ve been using the heavier axles used on the 3/4 ton trucks on the half tons since at least 2015.

I still wouldn’t make a habit out of towing that much weight with a half ton though. A heavier, longer truck with dual rear wheels and engine braking would be more ideal for stability alone.

What I do like about Chrysler is that they aren’t afraid to jam horsepower into their cars and SUVs (well just the Cherokee).

I know their reliability isn't always there, but damn it's hard not to root for them.

Ford: Check us out, we put an Ecoboost V6 in the Mustang. V8s are a thing of the past.

Dodge: You get a Hellcat! And you get a Hellcat!

I've had 3 Rams and they were fine for me from a reliability standpoint. I traded in my 09 last year and got a F150 just to try something different.

I've had one (2011), and honestly it was the only truck I had that never went back to the dealer for anything, and that includes a Tundra.

Chrysler products are alright on the vehicles they give a shite about.

Read:. Charger, Challenger, Rams.

I don't get this gripe? The Tacoma hasn't had round wheel wells since 2004. The current tundra body style doesn't have round wheel wells either. No one seems to care about those.

Exactly what I was coming to say. About time they rounded them off. I'm not a truck guy, but those squared off wheel wells really hurt the look.

This is my biggest problem with the Sierra and Silverado.

I think this may have been addressed in the 2019 models. That was one of my biggest gripes as well.

the front fender on the 3rd pic looks weird.
Like two components that don't come close to fitting. Wonder why they left a hole there ?

It’s to direct air around the front wheels, which reduces aerodynamic drag.

The Ecoboost V-6 isn't in the Mustang. The Ecoboost 4 cylinder is in the Mustang. Don't know what you're trying to prove with that pic because your Mustang statement is dead wrong.
