I would just add that the left's liberation / oppression narrative is simply obsolete. The people who are still oppressed now kind of deserve it: prisoners, bums, pedophiles... not everyone deserves a flag / march / movement but the Democrats are a one trick pony.

People are red pilling and moving to Florida. I can sell my house right now for $200k more than I bought it for in Oct 2020.

We bought a fixer upper on the water in Orange Beach for 50k back in 95 before I retired from the Marines and we still live there after many years of renovating and adding on. Not moving again ever. There's a lot of stability in not having a mortgage payment.

I had visited Austin a couple of years ago for a funeral, first time there in almost 7 years. Couldn’t believe how much it changed/expanded over those years!

And they feel exactly the same way about you, with the same intensity.

You don't see how that might be a problem?

There is, no middle ground.

This is a a battle for our continued existence. This is about survival.

Why are they wrong? Why isnt it possible that you might be in the wrong?
Why do they flock from progressive bastions to conservative ones, convert the conservative ones to progressive, and then move on?

They are locusts.

If progressivism was such a boon to their existence, the flow would go the other direction.

Austin is a beautiful city but it's grappling with an increase in property crime like every big, progressive-led city in America. Was there last week and was going to hike at Mount Bonnell but noped out when I saw a dozen cars had their windows broken in the parking lot.
