If I feel like my life is being threatened, I would do whatever I need to do to ensure it is protected. With that being said, I REALLY would have to feel like I had no other options for me to put my hands on a woman.

I still would like to think I would use as little force as necessary. My ex S/O was a very good athlete but physically she could not beat me up without using a weapon.
We used to wrestle a bit for the hell of it and she had no chance.
