We might get there eventually, but we aren't close yet. Maybe check back if we're still doing this shite in six to eight weeks.

At a certain point the suffering from the economic ruin will outweigh that of the virus itself. I agree that we do need to monitor it, but it's down the road.

It makes absolutely no sense to tank our economy over something that is unlikely to kill off even 1% of our population.

We have very little testing, in all likelihood, there have been countless others who have had the virus -- and survived

Therefore, death rate is even lower than currently projected

And most of those are amongst folks who no longer actively produce in our economy (yes this is a cynical outlook, but true)

However, tanking our economy will kill just as many people. People die in recessions (and even more in depressions)
