At what part or act of the viral outbreak thriller film are we in currently?

Think about films like Contagion or Quarantine.
Are we still in the first act with the main protagonist still trying to warn people about the virus's long term affects and he's being brushed off by the government and scientists?
Or are we in the second act of the film where the main protagonist is trying to get to his family and get them out of the cities before its too late?

Opening credit montage will include video clips depicting with news anchor narration of: people collapsing on the streets of Wuhan, images of the cruise ships sailing in circles with helicopters surrounding them, Trump touring the CDC saying the tests are "beautiful," the stock ticker showing the Dow falling by 2000 points, generic video of scientists working in biohazard suits, discussion about Italy quarantining the country, dancing in the streets of Germanistan, etc.

We're in the woman's remake where the media create a Trump virus and only womyn with skills they never knew they had but now magically can do anything try and commit treason.
