Sounds like his father taught him he has the freedom to do whatever he wants.

That's an instance when I'd laugh in somebody's face
Posted on 9/11/16 at 8:45 pm to LSU alum wannabe
That's pretty stupid. Did everyone stand up and put their hand over their heart too?

Inside, your hat shoulda been off already. Remember this the next time.

Its a sports bar with a bunch of drunk yahoos with wing sauce all over their face you dumbass.

If that sports bar is in America then you better respect the anthem. Sure you whiny kids have the right to wear your hats and be disrespectful, but don't be surprised when a patriot exercises his right to kick your arse.
A true patriot would not waste his time attempting to kick someone's arse over not removing a hat at a sports bar during the national anthem (which is not something that happens in any sports bar I've ever been in where people are wearing hats). A true patriot would understand what the 1st Amendment is about.

Know how I know you look like a bitch?
Because someone had the balls to walk up to you and say some dumb shite in public.

I not wear a hat indoors when I'm playing poker because I shave my head, and it's hard to hide nervous or anxious flushing on my bald dome.
Otherwise, there's not really a good reason to wear a hat indoors.

Really? So if you go out to a bar or the Superdome you take your hat off?
Do you take your hat off if you go to the grocery store or Home Depot?
I understand taking it off while sitting down eating at a table, or inside someone's house if you're visiting, but to say there's no good reason to wear a hat indoors is a little silly.

Yes. I wear a hat outdoors because I live at 7000 feet, and being outside with a bald head absolutely requires protection.
I take my hat off indoors, though, always. That's what my dad taught me, and it stuck.
I don't know if I'm right or wrong, but I'm answering your question.

I've never heard of this.

Who cares what another person is doing? If it were you I see not taking your hat off during the anthem I would bounce you around like a god durned basketball first and put you through the Sheetrock second. I don't give a shite if you are in a sports bar or at your kids band concert at school. I will teach you about respect.

Should have had the waitress add your tab to his and left before him.

It was weird watching national anthems today without an over/under on total time. Usual avg 2:03

Take your hat off for the Anthem, always.
Take your hat off indoors, or while seated at a table to eat.
Stand for the National Anthem, the Hallelujah chorus of Handel's Messiah, and Dixie.
Open the door for a lady, walk on the street side of the sidewalk, get in the cab first, go through a rotating door first, immediately follow the host/hostess to your table, and stand when a lady stands at or comes to your table.
Always pay for a lady's dinner.
Pull over when funeral procession passes.
Don't fricking talk during a movie.
Chew with your mouth closed, and keep your elbows off the table.
These rules may seem antiquated to some, but they're really not difficult to follow, it makes life just a little bit nicer, and it helps to weed out the philistines.
