Some people learn to hate from friends and family. Most hate them because they’ve been arrested or issued citations. People hating me doesn’t make job any harder tbh

I should have clarified. Do you get to keep a percentage of revenue for tickets collected upon or a flat fee of some kind per ticket

I myself, no. Each city or county collects a small percentage of each citation. For my agency the funds go to a general city fund. So, if the fire department, road department, schools, etc. need money. They take from the general fund.

People first. Victims/innocent. Property can be replaced but I will do my best to protect it. Officers have discretion for a reason. Not everyone needs a ticket or needs to go to jail.
