That's the 2nd job in this thread that you mentioned you only had for 2 weeks. Is not sticking with a job a black thing?

The table waiting was not for me. I just couldn't handle the "service" part.

The lifeguard gig was when I was volunteering at a summer camp. They needed me to be a counsellor because one of the guys had a family emergency and had to leave.

So you studied history and went into civil structural design? How the hell did you get "design" any structures without a civil engineering degree at the bare min?
You have a history degree and working as a structural designer aka structural engineer and got the nerve to tell me I am not an mechanical engineer?! When I hold a degree from LSU in Mechanical Engineering and a Physics degree from Xavier. You got some balls.
I know where your butthurt stems from the big dog PE Civil Engineer at your job constantly gives you shite because your are not an engineer.
ME and CE are not the same thing about 98% of ME job postings will not have PE anywhere in the requirements.

I'm not a structural engineer. I'm a structural designer. Not being a PE, I can't and won't call myself an engineer.
You seem mighty defensive. Call yourself whatever you want.

No butthurt here. I have a good relationship w/ the PEs I work with. We respect each other.

Hold on. This doesn't exactly make my point. I am looking for Black crime. This does show crime is down. If blacks commit 53% of the crime and the overall trend shows crime is down you can infer that black crime is also down. I will find the exact graphs because I know some of you will play stupid and act like you don't understand.

How do you even call yourself a designer when you have NO formal training. You studied history. You haven't even taken Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of Material or anything. How do you calculate bearing stress? Bearing Tear out? frick do you even know how to calculate the moment on a cantilever?

Yea, "Godfather1 go fetch them drawings off the printer so I can sign them" Amirite?

ETA: For me to become an PE All I got to do is take the FE and PE.
You have about 90 hours of course work, a BS in CE, the FE and PE. Don't put me in the same boat as you. I am an engineer. You are a grunt worker for other engineers.

I don't think the country owes blacks for it. But lets not forget what happened for another 100 years after slavery ended. I mean, I'm in my mid thirties and we are only talking about 10-15 years before I was born before blacks received the same rights as whites have for the most part.

OH yea I am. I ain't gonna lie. How you gonna try and shite on me when I have a degree and you don't even have that? If you atleast had a degree I would respect your argument. You know nothing about engineering to state that. You have never probably been around a ME.

Can I call you blackman?
Posted on 3/5/17 at 11:21 am to LSU_Saints_Hornets
Yep. Crime is down across the board, including black crime.
Proportionally (and overall, I believe), black people commit more crime, but those are two different discussions. I think folks get them confused (or are wilfully ignorant as to the distinction).

A lot of black guys have a well shaped head and can pull off it being shaved.
Does it bother you when a white guy does the same? Follow up, do you assume white guys with shaved heads are racist?
