New Orleans is one of the better football towns in the NFL in my opinion.

I've lived within the I-240 loop (inner loop) of Memphis my entire life and have not once witnessed violence, and I have certainly never been threatened in any way by a stranger.

People look at numbers like they're in a vacuum. I can't speak for New Orleans, since I've only been there to visit, but if it's anything like this city, then the VAST majority of violent crime takes place in a few centralized zip codes. Places you can easily avoid.
