They are willing to work early to late, not looking for a handout, and taking care of what they make by reinvesting or buying another store. I guess you could say they don't mind doing business the way most Americans did it 50-100 years ago, earn what you can.

There were distribution centers, for lack of a better term, in California for recent immigrants that would help new Chinese people set up restaurants and stores.

My brother in law is Asian and has a C store or three. It's a cash business . Pretty simple. It appeals to people willing to work hard.
