I usually don't have to mess with 73. It's the mother of all clusterfricks. It takes about 45 minutes to get from airline to 10 @7:30am. 74 was getting bad from bluff to 73 but doesn't seem to bad now since st amant left.
On the flip side, I bitch about traffic as much as the next guy but traffic is bad everywhere in this POS state.
Geismar is great for getting to BR & avoiding as much traffic as possible but there isn't shite for business in here/dutchtown

Sure you can. Anything north of Hwy 42 is less than five minutes from the parish line, and easy access to I-10 via Old Perkins or Highland.
And you get Oak Grove Primary, Prairieville Middle, and Dutchtown High. It's a win win.

All of the St Amant schools are great. We used to live in prairieville and I dont find my travel time to BR that much different on work days due to traffic in that part of the parish.
