I think most folks posting here are probably talk radio fans.
I found Art Bell back in the late 90’s around the same time I discovered Phil Hendrie. Phil would do such a hilarious impersonation of Art, along with ABBA theme music and having General Johnson Jameson on the show.

I worked nights during the late 90s. Art Bell's radio show made the nights go by so much faster. Actually looked forward to getting to work, firing up a joint, and listening to his show.

I found art bell and coast to coast am on my way back from a Birthday party in middle school that my dad picked me up from. He was going through the radio dial and came across art bell talking about vampires and the rougarou. My dad kept going on through the dial in our 1980s Buick and I told him to go back to coast to coast not knowing what it was but loved that type of shite.
Good shite. Those are good memories with my dad. I miss him.

Art always talked about the “quickening”. It’s cool how you can look back now at his show and see how many predictions came out true.
