Postal worker finds kids alone, covered in feces

"The little baby boy's crib had a used diaper in there that appeared to be there for a while, maybe up to a week," Counts said. "It was just a bad situation."

"The girls appeared not to have had a bath in several days and appeared to be covered in what looked like feces,"

WOW

quote:

Alexander got the two girls out of the road and looked for someone who was supposed to be taking care of them.

She told Region 8 News she heard faint music from the garage and found the children's mother passed out in a chair.

"The postal worker stopped when she saw two small children playing in the road, and I am glad she did come along," Sharp County Sheriff Mark Counts said.

General Population is salivating as we speak: kill a cop, be a hero; hurt a kid, don't drop the soap

A Sharp County postal worker found two small children in awful condition while making her daily mail delivery.

The worker, Judy Arnold Alexander, was driving down Hars Creek Road in Ash Flat on Friday when she saw two young girls.

The older girl is around four years old and was wearing an old nightgown while the younger girl, who is two years old, was naked and covered in feces according to Alexander.

Alexander got the two girls out of the road and looked for someone who was supposed to be taking care of them.

Same here. Nothing hits me harder than hearing about children being mistreated or harmed. I believe that those who are capable of bringing harm to kids need to be put away or put down.

I'm sure there are thousands of desperate coupes who right now would give just about anything to provide these two little girls a loving and stable home.

There were actually 3 kids involved. There was also a baby.

Hopefully they are all placed together in the same foster home...and hopefully the foster parents are ones actually looking to adopt from within the system. However...just depends. It could take forever for the mother's parental rights to actually be taken away..leaving the children open for adoption.
