When I go to the store, sure.
Riding my bike outside alone or hiking alone and staying away from others to get some fresh air and exercise....absolutely not. That is just silliness imo.

No. Only betas wear masks.
Wrong... I'm wearing a mask in stores. I have one, a good one, it's easy to put on, cuts down on un-necessary risks, it is courteous to others who might be in risk groups...and honestly I feel like the real betas are the ones worried about what others will think about them for wearing one.

Don't talk ignorant child. You honestly think a piece of ill-fitted cotton across your stupid mug is going to do a damned bit of good keeping virus particles that are 0.1 - 0.22 microns in size from escaping by the millions if you cough or sneeze? Even well fitting N95 masks can't do that.
So I guess you think cops/soldiers that wear body armor are ignorant children? Body armor isn't 100% effective but it's damn sure better than nothing.
If an N95 or a bandana slows the virus particles down enough to keep them from projecting as far then I might not infect another person. Or if it intercepts the viral particle that would have infected my person, then I did the right thing. So yes, when I'm going to be around people outside of my home, I wear one.
Oh and by the way, the virus is also expelled during normal breathing. So an asymptomatic individual wearing a mask, or a person wearing a mask that is in the vicinity of an asymptomatic individual is far less likely to infect or be infected. Fact.

You wear a mask, you're a pussy. Period.
I wear a mask. Because I'm not so stupid I don't realize the point of wearing a mask is to make sure I don't pass the virus on if I am asymptomatic.

There are some mineral oils you can apply to the inside of your mask to help but if you don’t have a space suit and you breath contaminated air you are going to catch it.
Why do people think cloth is a filter?? Wearing gloves is your safer bet or get one of those suits from the movie Outbreak.

When I’m at the grocery, yes.
Out for walks or playing with the kids? No.

There are 2 groups that should wear masks, only 2.
1. Those that are sick.
2. Those caring for the sick.
That's all. Period. It does no good for anyone else and has been proven to be counterproductive.
How would you know you’re sick if you’re infected but have no symptoms?

Nope. Have to wear one at work for 10 hours. Damn sure ain’t wearing one when I don’t have to.

Saw a guy today in Lafayette, driving a golf cart in a neighborhood, by himself, wearing a mask.
