Of course; everyone has plans this evening and my team was smart enough to wrap up loose ends last week.

I encouraged everyone to put up external out of offices this morning and leave by 3pm.

I work in sales and don't go to the office every day. I worked from home today and was going to take Thursday and Friday as PTO days. Yesterday two prospective customers I have been courting for quite some time asked if we could get together, (1 on Thursday and 1 on Friday). So I will be traveling/working those days. It's just meetings and lunches, but I have to make hay when the sun shines in my business

Not so subtle "I'm a manager" brag.

I offshored my subordinate's jobs last year.

So they are working through the week.

No. They are off tomorrow. July 3rd is not a holiday.

yep- we were slow today so i let em go. one lady commented on how she was ready to go to the camp- i let her go this morning.

no big deal, i have productivity numbers to meet and it only helps me out having them go when there is not much work.

Im comping my employees Thursday and Friday. They will get Wed-Sun off.

Happy employees make me more money. And this is a slow time of year for us anyway.
