No. I love first dates

Up until the part where I have sex with them

I was embarrassed the first time I took Paige to Cheddar's Casual Cafe in Katy because I'm always concerned about what the staff there, my friends, think of me. I got a mixed reaction but she gave great head that night so I think it was all worth it.

He just texted me asking where for Saturday night is the best date place and what should they do after that's not a total delirium drunk-fest? I know...drunker the better. BUT...he thinks he wants to go slow.

He's 38? At that age you take her out to a 4 star restaurant.

If you dont have the money to do that at 38 you already failed at life.

Ballgame is a horrible date. She probably doesn't care for the sport. And if he does he'll be into the game

A first date should be conducive to talking and getting to know each other

holy fricking omg. If I found out my date did that he'd have a lot of making up to appear normal or be hot as frick so it didn't matter

I'm going to lay some more advice on the OP's friend:

1 - don't spend alot on a first date
2 - A movie is the worst early date. Dinner is close second
3 - If you must go to dinner sit at the bar so that you can lean in / touch the other person
4 - If your friend wants sexy time he should try on the 1st date. Chances of sexy time go down significantly afterwards (if there is even a 2nd date)
5 - Text the girl afternoon before the date to verify plans / reassure her
6 - Saturday date night can be alot of pressure for a 1st. Weekday night can be better.

Why does your 38 year old friend give a frick what people think? The pussification...

Honestly if the girl was attracted to him enough to go out on the date, then he's pretty much good to go

Good dinner and good conversation and all should be well

Casual restaurant, have a few drinks. Turn off your phone and if there is a connection ask for a second date. This isn't rocket science, it is interpersonal interactions.
