Are you and/or your current S.O. still friends with any of your former S.O.s?

My husband still works with one of his exes from long ago. We all used to be friends but we haven't hung out with her and her now husband in a few years.

I don't talk to any of mine. The only one I had very casual contact with(as in a fb friend and a happy bday post on their wall type friendship)...he killed himself this past January.

My wife’s ex visits pretty frequently but It always always happens to be when I’m at work for some reason. Sucks bc my wife says he’s a great guy.

No. BF goes scorched earth when relationships end. I’ve only got one significant ex. We could be friends, I guess, but I don’t stay in touch out of respect for my BF. He’s still friends with some of my friends.

What was kinda odd was his old friends that contacted me to let me know the news...they kept saying to me "I'm so sorry for your loss". Like I was the widow or something. I mean...we broke up 13 years ago..and I've been with my husband for 10 years.

Like I felt like they expected me to start sobbing crying or something.

That is odd. Maybe they were using the phrase out of habit?

My wife still talks to her ex

Of course I wouldn’t be able to talk to any of mine. Not that I had many

Yeah it was a little uncomfortable to say the least. I appreciated them showing concern for me though and I enjoyed catching up with people I haven't spoken to in 13 years.

I remember asking another friend of mine "am I a horrible person if I'm not super sad over this?". I mean..I felt horrible for the two daughters (plus an unborn baby...3 different women) he left behind. But did I cry about it for weeks...no.

If things are serious....you better fess up your history with her friend. Otherwise I guarantee her friend will spill the beans one drunken night after too many margaritas.

Sorta. I dated my wife’s best friend for a month then a year later started dating my wife.

I wouldn’t even describe it as dating. We were “talking” and nothing ever happened.

So obviously, we are still really close with her.

I’m the same way with exception of my exwife. My GF think that’s odd but to me there’s no point.

Not really. We are civil when we see each other but don’t hangout.

My mother is still friends with her ex husband's sister if that counts.

My sister is extremely good friends with her fiancé'a ex girlfriend but I'm pretty sure it's understood. Eternal them there was no sexual chemistry between the original couple.

I've had men and women exes and SOs. The men actually seem a little more cordial when we happen to run into each other.

Women are some crazy, jealous bitches. Me included. None of us are immune to crazy.

My S.O.'s first ex husband moved to be with his now FOURTH wife and hasn't spoken to his daughter in six years.

Her second ex husband died last year. The IQ of Earth increased with his passing and I feel sorry for Hell.
