You will know better than to involve yourself in the sin, but you are comissioned to love each and every one of them... Not from afar either... The point of Christ breaking bread with whores and publicans Wake up a-holes, along with a conspiracy of antichrist going on, your behavior of antichrist is driving ore people away from Christ than any news network, internet site, or Christ hater ever did
Loving someone doesn't equate to embracing or condoning their sin.
When Jesus spoke to the woman caught in the act of adultery who was to be stoned, he forgave her sins, but told her to go and sin no more.
" Go and sin no more!" Strong words and a stronger admonition.
Parents who love their kids don't allow them to eat candy for meals because they know it isn't good for them. Good parents, loving parents, discipline and teach their kids right from wrong even when it's tough and even if it isn't popular.
This modern trend in Christianity to just simply embrace all manners of sinful behaviors for the sake of inclusion and under the banner of love, isn't love at all. It's the opposite of love actually.
"Go and sin no more!" Go and sin no more!"

Are you sinless today ? I just want you to think about it....
You haven't been sinless one single day since you were saved.
Who are you judging? Is there a hierarchy of sins?
Why don't you read more of Jesus' words, living them, instead of being worked up by these things ?
Do you think Christ wouldn't have known there was at least on queer in at least one of his major ministerial stops , and wouldn't he have laid out a parable to address this "problem", if it were such an abomination?

These people were born this way... Once you understand that easy fact, you can love them like you love anyone else .
Yes butt sex is gross , and has no real value... Even most of them know that... It is the attraction that they are born with. Their cross.
Fight the agenda, but love the actual people, and quit being a jerk

I'll ask you a very simple question. Would Jesus have been in favor of homosexual sexual activity?

What if a person is born a whoremonger? Would that justify whoremongering?

Which people am I not loving?

Just a small subset of society that you feel the need to vocalize about, while ignoring the gossiper, the liar, and the self righteous that you see every single day of your life (which you are probably a part of, daily) and don't feel the need to damn to hell

Unless you failed to notice, the thread is on homophobia. Start a few threads on the other topics and I'll chime in on those as well!

Honestly, I don't know. He was not born of heterosexual activity, he never mentioned homosexual activity in all of his ministries, and apparently never took on a heterosexual relationship of his own in his 33 years in earth.
I have to suppose he had bigger fish to fry.

So you assume that even though Jesus said, " I always do the Father's will" and " the Father and I are one" that he would somehow hold to a doctrine contrary to the Father and the disciples?

Expand that to all the things that everyone does everyday.
Christians in your church. You.
Lying. Gossiping. Coveting. Being judgmental. Caring more about their place in the church, or world, than they do about their neighbor.
Really search yourself. You'll find those issues.
Thank God for Christ, appreciate his sacrifice, change your outlook, and let God judge all of us.

He fulfilled the law. Was he lying?
He commanded us to love our neighbor more than ourselves.
Not judge, love your neighbor.
Try that... Trust the power of God to do the judging.

Again, your definition of love is to simply allow everyone to sin as they will and so be it.
Do you simply ignore the sections of the bible that deal with church discipline or Jesus' admonitions that a little leaven leavens the entire loaf?
I get the love thy neighbor part and the judge not, but you are throwing the baby out with the bath water.
The love part has to balance out with the parts about living Godly lives.
What about Jesus' admonitions about wolves in sheep's clothing or tares among the wheat?

Basically, give the fight to God.
LOVE your neighbor... Just stop arguing.
The Romans had all kinds of social evils going on... Christ cared none. He was about how people loved his father , and one another. If it was important enough, he would have been involved in changing laws and social issues. He didn't fight any of that, except for the religious norms of the day. IMO that is the exclusion of the poor, sick, afflicted ,different, and the outcasts.
Leave politics, and "social issues" alone and love someone. That will create the change he wanted.

No man, my issue is that you are picking a certain sin as a deal breaker type of sin, and not being honest about all sin.
Posted on 9/7/15 at 2:29 am to Revelator
The wolves in Sheeps clothing were the priests who excluded so many from the love if God

Simple question... Do you think that homosexuals are born that way?
Posted on 9/7/15 at 2:37 am to Revelator
What don't you understand about God being the judge though?
You ARE one of the sinners. You ARE one if the judged.
Whatever sin it is... YOU will be judged for it.
What makes that one worse? What makes that one the one to harp on? Why not stop calling them abominations, when so much that goes on in and around your life is a total affront to Christs calling?
Point is, it's ok to love everyone. You won't be judged for just loving them... You may be judged for judging them... With a plank in your eye.

God is the final judge but that didn't stop the disciples from preaching about sin and Godly living though.
Should we simply ignore the mandates to exhort each other to Godly living?

I'm sorry, I thought you jumped in and mentioned Christs feelings on the matter.
Must have been a different Relevator.
