Don't forget Mac from Tower of Power and David Bowie and Leonard Cohen and all those DNC whistle blowers.

Lots of folks seem to have had bad years, but no different than any other information suppose. Social media just amplifies the bad.

Mixed year for me. Some health concerns but a great new job. Things could be a lot worse.

Terrible year for me. My whole family flooded, I basically went close to broke, a bunch of outstanding musicians died, a reality tv star is president (although that is admittidly better than Clinton), all of the corruption in our government, businesses, and media that we long suspected turned out to not only be happening and documented in writing, but far more pervasive than we ever imagined and no one cares; school kicked my arse; my wife was out of work for month, ect.

Literally the only good things that happened this year were my band got to record an ep, and I got married. That's it. This year was easily the most challenging and depressing of my life.

It was a very tough year for me and I was wondering if the national mentions of 2016 being a tough year are 'said about every year' or if I was just paying more attention due to my personal situation.

Even with my personal issues, there was still a lot of good in 2016 when looking on the bright side. My dad passed away from cancer, but at least the suffering didn't linger. I had to lay off my 1st employee due to the downturn, but at least it wasn't me. I had high hopes for LSU football this year, but perhaps the transition is better for the long term future. Add about 5-10 other situations that have similar ways to look at a negative as being a positive.

If Obama is in office, yes, we are.

When Obama is gone, no, we won't.
