Mid 90s were the end of the age of free thinkers and free spirits. Young people weren't afraid to disconnect and wander, seeing the country through the eyes of locals and trying to learn more about why we are different in an accepting kind of way. Beauty was appreciated not for the ideal, but for its own unique composition. You still see fragments and slight undercurrents but those years were the death of art and experience as it was known from the 50s forward. The world is more cloistered now, the hive minds creep through cables and we are overloaded with misinformation, consumerism and sort of an dreamless, sterile, environment that stifles independence.
