No we aren’t all African. However, the theory is that all modern humans’ ancestors ORIGINATED/emigrated from Africa, with the exception of Europeans having some mixing with Neanderthals.

The ultimate authority on the origins of humanity is the Max Planck Institute in Berlin. Svante Pääbo is the lead paleogeneticist and his remarkable research firmly places humanity's origin in Africa.

Would you agree, humanity's origin has nothing to do with the contemporary social construction of race? Or that significant changes occurred in the populations that got out of Africa tens of thousands of years ago from those that remained?

New evidence suggests Europe birthplace of modern man

The discovery of the creature, named Graecopithecus freybergi, and nicknameded ‘El Graeco' by scientists, proves our ancestors were already starting to evolve in Europe 200,000 years before the earliest African hominid
I have seen a documentary where it shows evidence that humans started evolving in bother europe and Africa separately but at the same time.

No the majority of evidence for the origination of the Homo species, including anatomically modern Humans, is in Africa. The genetic data is overwhelming in addition to the fossil record.

Have you ever heard the term "out of Africa"?

The best DNA and archaeological evidence we have suggests that the first anatomically modern humans showed up in Africa something like 200,000 years ago. We then immediately realized Africa sucked and moved to Eurasia

Unless we were all created by a supreme being, we are all something and it is all the same, whether it is African or European. We certainly didn’t originate from separate and distinct pods that popped up in different nations, making some of us African or European, or Asian or Indian. Cannot have it both ways.

I don't get the downvotes. I know about the fertile crescent, but that's where civilization is supposed to have originated, not necessarily human beings as a species.

If you believe Ancestry DNA or the other one 23 & Me they say we ALL originated from over there. SO I guess we ARE ALL African descendants.

Yeah I don't either. The evidence that humans originated in Africa has no bearing on modernity, but people don't seem to like the suggestion, even though it is evidence-based.
