Are Repeat Violent Offender and First time Murderer statistics for BR available?

Reaching out to our resident police and crime statistic trackers of the board for help on a thought that's been bugging me for some time.
I saw that the guy who committed the gaa station murder was caught yesterday. Seems this wasn't his first run in with the law. That also seems to be a trend for murder in BR, and I did a little digging but couldn't find anything, so I'm asking the OT for help with 2 stats:
1. How many of those convicted of murder in BR are first time offenders? Percentage? Seems like every brief I read the guy has a rap sheet a mile long before they successfully kill someone.
2. How many of those convicted of a violent crime or felony are actually one and done? Percentage? Is "reform" actually working? Honestly don't know.

You could reach out to the police department for a real answer

Purely anecdotal, but the majority of individuals I’ve represented on murder charges over the years have had little to no record. And murders that look like this (armed robbery or home invasion escalation) are not the norm. It’s far more common for someone to be killed by someone they know over a personal issue.

It’s way too early to tell.

Yet people complain that we put too many people in prison?
No Politician has the guts to say it, but prisons have ONE primary function: To protect the good guys from the bad guys, period, end of story.

You think the Outrage Development Department cares about some PhD student who probably had a funny accent?
Now if that man had been hurt while resisting arrest, we're talking a whole new story. The Advocate might even have to come up with a new feature series.

Ask Gravy. I'm sure he'll be thrilled to call you a racist for "axing" it.
