Ohio is depressing and they want to get out as much as possible. This coming from multiple residents of Ohio that I know. It’s a shithole apparently. I’ve been to Cincy once, and it was pretty bleak, old, and depressing for the most part.
I’m guessing like Michigan, the automakers going under killed them.

Yeah. Ohio's been to the moon... three times.
Neil Armstrong once and Jim Lovell twice.
There were only 27 crewmen that ever went to the moon (3 each for 9 missions), so this means that if you randomly picked a human up in the middle of a moon mission, there's a 11% chance it would be an Ohioan.
Note that only 24 men ever went to the moon. 3 of them went twice. If you randomly picked one of the ones that went BACK, you'd have a 33% chance of picking an Ohioan.
