so why would you think me saying trends in going would apply to you? have you noticed a crowd increase in recent years?

Can you bring a dog to the farmer's market? I talked to my wife, and she was under the impression that you could bring your dog to the FM downtown.

Yeah, and thank God for a return to normality where people support their local farmers and communities, and benefit from it by getting fresh produce to boot. Nothing negative in the slightest here. It's people who give a shite. That's all.

No, they frown upon that. I'm pretty sure it may have something to do with regulations, but not certain.

Screw the whales. I'm talking bout the community in which you live, your neighbors, your local merchants, and your local economy. If that's foreign to you, then I really don't know what to say but seek help.

I'm confused as to why it's a negative thing for people to shop at farmers' markets. Who cares when they started going?

Annoying? Yes. Girly? No.

In all seriousness, who the heck are you to define girly and not girly? I do things that make me happy, and if people want to judge, screw them they aren't in my life helping me be happy anyways.

look, it's on you as to why you do the things you do...the things that make you "happy"

I just believe that people are either lying to themselves or lying to me, when they give these peripheral reasonings.

ie...I like living in Watson, has good schools, and doesn't have the hustle and bustle of city life.......yeah...demographics mean nothing to me...never even looked at them.....yeah...that's the ticket

Kash,

In your world, would you consider someone who frequents a farmers market a liberal and someone who shops at Walmart probably more along the lines of a conservative thing to do?

Not sure you realize this but men have been doing all sorts of shite to impress a woman in hopes of getting into her pants since the beginning of time. It's pretty much the most sure fire way to get a girl. In fact, I'd say it's very rare for a girl to hook up with a guy who she finds highly unimpressive unless there is money or drugs being exchanged for services rendered.

You stand by the assertion that (a) farmers' markets, (b) knowing and enjoying good wine, (c) knowing and enjoying good food, and (d) yoga, are girly things?
