I feel that every morning when I'm rolling out of bed.

I feel that when I run into someone I went to school with 30 years ago and they remember me like we've been BFF's but I don't know them from Adam's housecat.

One of my phobias... Running into someone who knows me and I simply cannot place them. Social media has done me in on a number of occasions with this. People friending me, looking at our mutual friends, seeing I graduated with them, and can't remember them for shite.

Happens to me all the time. In fact I have a system with my wife. If we're out somewhere and run into someone I actually remember from years ago, I'll introduce her to them as like...

"Hey, Whoever, this is my wife Mildred*.
Mildred, this is my friend from 1982, Whoever. "

But if I don't remember them I won't introduce the two of them since I can't actually tell my wife who I'm talking to. She gets a big kick out of it. We've stood and had 20 minute conversations with people and as we walk off she just looks at me and says "you have no idea who that was do you?".

* - Mildred is not my wife's real name.

what would you think about the single girl who goes to dive bars

Could be here neighborhood bar where she knows others or maybe she just wants to get a drink at a place and then walk home. That's why I did it. Just because I'm new to a town doesn't mean I have to sit at home by myself all the time.

driving range

I do this all the time. I go to hit balls. I find it relaxing and it's a great way for me to work off stress.

I don't really think anything about it. I never really notice other people and if they are alone or with others. Live and let live.
