I have a theory that the trashiness of a product is directly proportional to the amount of its packaging littering the road.

If you walk along any country road, you will see numerous beer and energy drink cans as well as fast food wrappers.

While I enjoy the occasional High Life, I think there’s little debate that Busch, Bud Light, and Coors Light are generally trashy. These are the discarded cans most often found along my running route...along with energy drink cans (usually monster).

Judging by the refuse, I would say trashy folks are - at least - as likely to consume energy drinks as beer. Perhaps they’re drinking Busch in the evening and crushing an AM Monster on the way to the job site.

Is there anyone else like me that sees absolutely zero effect from any type of energy drink concoction or caffeine in general.

I could drink 10 of them and still not get any kind of benefit.

Is there some condition where caffeine does jack shite to you?

I drink sugar free monsters daily. I’m a piece of trash.

To get the real effect you need a Bang, Reign, or Redline

I don't think they themselves are trashy. But most of the people who drink them are trashy. I've only had vault once back in the day. I don't see the appeal of energy drinks. Of course, some don't see the appeal of coffee and I drink that every morning.

Drinking caffeine after 9 AM has bad effects on my sleep, so drinking an energy drink in the afternoon would be like self sabotage.

Probably. Everybody is different. I am super duper sensitive to caffeine, if I don't have it at my normal time every day I get really terrible headaches. And I only drink 1-2 cups every day. If I drink it any time other than early mornings, sleep is almost off the table. My wife, on the other hand, can stop drinking it for a week and feel no effects at all.

I'll have one on occasion but most of them shouldn't be consumed by humans.

We used to throw beer and other stuff on the side of the road where our buddy, who was doing a little time in jail, was on the road crew that picked up trash on the sides of highways. I guess that is pretty damn trashy but it was in college and the guy was a good dude.
