Just walking down canal street and I see the food truck for edible weed products. Ice cream, lollipops, gummies etc. I had no idea this was legal in LA.

Had a conversation about exactly this earlier in the week. There are at least a couple delivery companies that drive vans around the FQ area.

I've seen those trucks. They've been around for a while. I don't understand what the shtick is, but they don't actually have weed in them. Maybe it's a CBD thing?

It's literally to trick dumb tourists into buying something they think will get them high.

It doesn't have any actual weed in it.

they are all fake. The city has been fighting them for a while. There’s a reason they stay in tourist areas.

Well of course they sell the real thing in states that it’s legal.

It would take an idiot to drive around here advertising that they are selling something illegal in this state.

Not in louisiana.

If someone is selling that like that, they're trying to make a statement and become political prisoners.

I'd buy up just in case.

You are going to have to go down one of the back streets off Bourbon to score tricky weed.

It’s a scam. They sell marijuana flavored candies with no marijuana. The sales supposedly go towards advocacy for legal weed, but in reality they just trick drunk tourists legally.

Those trucks can get your real weed though. It's just an easy way of meeting the client base. I'm sure they got their boys near by with a green zip nick of stems and seeds from mexico for 20 bucks
